What is our Reinsurance Model?

As a reinsurance intermediary, we write US domestic risk on behalf of foreign reinsurers. Our risk selection process is extremely sophisticated, combining seasoned specialty-line underwriters with proprietary data analytics. 


Our technical approach to underwriting combines granular risk analysis with a long-term view of performance, which leads to consistent profitability. This enables us to anticipate market cycles and select counter-cyclical business.  

What specialty programs do we offer?

As a long-standing quota share reinsurance provider, AM RE utilizes our in-house database to analyze business in most specialty classes of (re)insurance. 


We currently operate across several specialty lines including Inland Marine, Ocean Marine, General Liability, Transportation, and Cyber. We offer low-limits coverage (<$2.5M per insured).
